The Rambling Hillside Beck Project
A huge transformation in Cumbria from flat, plain grassland to a rambling hillside beck. Our team and the client generated an exciting brief which gave us the license to create one of the most natural and ambitious streams and pond we have to date.

To create our vision we hand picked over ten tonnes of stone, each of which found their perfect place on the job and enabled us to create over twenty individual waterfalls, a triple tiered mosaic integrated patio, a stone viewing platform and a rocky island to name a few of the features.

It was the perfect time to complete this project as we had waves of Primula Bulleyanas and Beesianas in full flower. We always design our planting schemes to bring interest and colour to the garden over the different seasons.

The design centrepiece
The focal point of this landscape design in Cumbria was a triple tiered stone mosaic patio and steps .It blended seamlessly with the stream through a gravel beach, planted with Iris' and Primulas.
​
Its bespoke, totally unique and creates an inviting space to relax and take in the sounds and sights provided by the stream.
