A visually simple double pond design in Cumbria with three feature waterfall drops which create a stunning entrance into the pond. A very serene and calm design where the tailored planting design and shapes work together to create such a relaxing look.

A key element of the design was the bespoke custom made hardwood walkway which swings around the exterior of the lagoon pond and entices you to reach the circular decking area. The walkway is flanked by planting which makes the journey through the garden so enjoyable.

Where other water feature projects may have a winding stream with twists and turns or a series of cascading pools, the beauty of this project is the elegant simple double pool design. Its a project that really shows the contrasting styles of water features that we create depending on a clients personal tastes.

Our hardwood walkway we crafted around the lagoon on this project. So many elements have came together from the rugged stone steps, to the precision cut hardwood and finally the planting scheme which softens all of the construction.
Its matured into one of our favourite ever pool side walkways and makes the journey around the Water Feature so pleasurable.
