Material sourcing
Every piece of stone we use to create our water features and the integrated stonework is hand picked by ourselves in specially selected quarries in the Cumbrian fells. It is an essential part of the project process, without hand picking the stone ourselves we can't ensure the quality of material that is essential to execute our designs to the standard we hold.
Once the Stone and other materials have been sourced we use our experience to asses which areas on site will be used for deliveries and begin to prerpare the site for construction
Construction
We have completed projects which range from taking a single week to six months. Whatever the size of the project, the construction phase is always the most exciting. We love seeing the ideas born in the design process come to life.
Safety is of always paramount concern and we use our experience of executing projects to always maintain this to the highest of standards.

Planting and soft furnishings
The stage of the project which adds the most impact over a short period. The key is to tailor choose and blend the different medians available such as gravel, bark or turf, depending on the project and client preference.

When it comes to designing the planting scheme, we use our depth of knowledge to develop a scheme which takes into account a variety of factors such as ground conditions, sunlight and wind factor to name a few. It's a crucial and very enjoyable part of the process, the planting scheme always softens our stonework and is vital in attracting wildlife.
